Quality assurance of EMI programs
Having strong international communication skills is one of the 5 top soft skills sought after in employability of new graduates, which makes EMI program students more preferrable in this competition. These skills, first given in the prep programs, can degrade as the student continues to study in faculty. It is vital to be able to assess the degradation of these skills on a personal and group level via the use of standardized and certified test and develop customized ESP courses in the curriculum to assure that students are equipped with high-quality communication skills right before graduation. A workshop will be held first to identify the skills that might degrade the most and then propose courses and methods to achieve those learning outcomes, thus help assure the quality of EMI programs within this scope.
